The importance of Well-being in the Workplace

“I wasn’t going to attend this workshop, but I’m so glad I did”

“I feel so relaxed after attending this class”

These are lines I frequently hear from many attendees of my well-being workshops. Within the current circumstances of a post-pandemic society, many employees are struggling to become accustomed to a non-remote routine and struggle to deal with a lack of screen detox. This rapid switch has prompted employers and corporations to prevent burnout, boost workplace morale, and enhance work productivity through creative outlets such as staff well-being classes.

So, what are the benefits of well-being classes? It’s no secret that supporting the well-being of your staff will help cultivate mindfulness and unwind after a long work week. Self-care courses help boost creativity, enhance motor skills and workplace morale, and amplify the ability to unwind and relax, away from the screen.

My well-being workshops, in the heart of West Wales, take place in my garden studio, specifically designed with a colour scheme which invokes feelings of calmness and relaxation. As an employer or organiser, you can choose between well-being workshops including Paint Your Own Pottery (PYOP), Make & Paint Your Own Pottery, jewellery making, and Porcelain Aromatherapy Diffusers.

The studio in Aberystwyth will hold 10 people. If arranged in advance, I can travel to another location to hold well-being workshops for 10+ participants.

In the past year, I have provided well-being workshops for Aberystwyth University staff, Ceredigion Council (Hywel Dda Health Board) and yoga retreats with Lindsay Cardwell, and have been delighted to receive such positive feedback.
