Corporate pottery workshops from Carys Boyle Ceramics provide a unique alternative to traditional team-building activities, allowing your tech-based staff to unplug from screens, engage in mindful creativity, and connect with colleagues in a relaxed, judgment-free environment.
Why Choose A Bespoke, Creative UK-based Workshop?
For organisations looking to boost team morale, celebrate company milestones, or simply invest in employee wellness, CBC’s customisable PYOP creative sessions bring the therapeutic benefits of art therapy directly to your office or preferred venue, and additionally give employees the chance to collaborate with a long-established artist, providing the unique opportunity to master glazing techniques under expert guidance.
A remarkable aspect of her pottery workshops is Carys's ability to unlock and nurture confidence in those who doubt their creative abilities, by breaking down the process into manageable steps and sharing proven techniques gathered from professional artists and her own extensive experience in the art world.
Drawing on her own appreciation of coastal landscape, Carys designs her PYOP workshops around seasonal themes from the natural world, from a selection of winter-themed hug mugs, spring vases, mindful mid-summer botanical printing, and cosy candlestick holders for the harvest season, alongside festive pieces including pumpkin pots and Christmas baubles — perfect for corporate holiday events. For those interested in creating from scratch, Carys provides pottery-making workshops that require pre-booking consultation due to enhanced health and safety protocols.
From smaller-scale teams to large-scale corporate events, Carys Boyle's bespoke creative workshops create memorable experiences that leave employees feeling refreshed, valued, and inspired.
Carys Boyle Ceramics brings workshops to companies in Aberystwyth & Mid Wales and the Wrexham & Chester area, serving teams of 10+.

About the Artist:
Carys Boyle is a Welsh designer-maker currently based in Aberystwyth and raised in the West-Walian coastal town of New Quay. The inspiration from her rural upbringing is noted in her larger works, dominated by coastal elements; each piece is captured photographically in a sparse, sand-swept terrain with scattered, wispy branches.
Carys works as a professional designer-maker, holding workshops and producing branded merchandise for London hotels and cosmetic firms. Carys obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Design at Wrexham Glyndŵr University (2009), showcasing preliminarily at New Designers and the Harrogate Art Fair, and initiated her design collaborations for Harrods and the Victoria and Albert Museum. Continuing from bespoke orders, Carys productised for the wedding and events industry between 2010 and 2026, including cooperation with ITV’s Love Island, but has recently commenced delivering ceramic workshops in collaboration with known institutions, including Hywel Dda (NHS Wales), Aberystwyth University, and Ceredigion Council.
She continued her creative and commercial pursuits during the COVID-19 pandemic, but like many, she sought human interaction post-lockdown. What began as a pottery workshop idea in the ceramic studio became a success, developing into Make & Paint and Jewellery-making parties, gaining momentum in West Wales, paving the way for collaborations with local businesses throughout Ceredigion and the Chester/Wrexham area.
Carys continues to focus on commissioned work, such as a recent partnership with Hotel Cadogan, from the Belmond Hotel collection, but has recently expressed and directed her expertise toward delivering knowledge through corporate wellbeing design workshops.
